A video, which went viral on Wednesday, showed the boy being found and brought to safety, with the development triggering emotional reactions from those who witnessed the rescue.

A social media user, Uche Nwora, who posted the video said the incident occurred in Enugu State, although details about the boy’s identity and the circumstances surrounding the incident were not immediately available.

According to Nwora, the rescue came a day after the boy was swept away by flood.

Eyewitnesses were heard rejoicing and shouting, “Jesus, Igwe, Jesus, Igwe. Hallelyah.@
