The Nigerian star and world record holder clocked an impressive 12.28 seconds at the Stade Charléty, finishing comfortably ahead of the field to secure another Diamond League triumph.

American hurdler Grace Stark came in second in 12.38 seconds, while compatriot Johnson settled for third place in 12.39 seconds.

The winning time matched Amusan’s season’s best, having also recorded 12.28 seconds at the Xiamen and Rabat Diamond League meetings earlier this year.

The Paris event was held under a revised and condensed schedule after a severe heatwave swept across France over the weekend, prompting organisers to cancel all lower-tier youth and regional club competitions.

Despite the challenging conditions and track temperatures that reached 32 degrees Celsius on Sunday afternoon, Amusan delivered another composed and dominant display.
