On Friday, Habeeb Okikiola, known to his fans as Portable, suffered a defeat by disqualification in his celebrity boxing rematch against Nollywood actor Charles Okocha, after he exited the ring prematurely during the first round at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos.

The highly anticipated bout, dubbed “Unfinished Business,” was a rematch of the pair's initial encounter, which Okocha had long disputed, claiming the win was unfairly awarded to Portable.

Portable initially seemed to be gaining the upper hand, but the contest quickly devolved into a chaotic scene resembling a wrestling match, with the referee struggling to keep the fighters apart.

The bell ultimately signalled the end of the round, prompting security personnel and bodyguards to intervene and restore order as the situation spiralled out of control.

As the commotion subsided, Portable abruptly stormed out of the ring before officials could restart the contest, drawing jeers from the crowd, including spectators in the VIP section who had gathered for the event.

Despite being coaxed back into the ring, Portable was subsequently disqualified by officials, resulting in a victory for Okocha.

In a backstage interview prior to the fight, during which he was holding his son, Portable expressed his unhappiness, saying, “I am not happy, but I want God to make me happy and my family.”
