Diomande, who is 19 years old, has expressed his desire to join the French club to the German team, prompting the initiation of negotiations between the two clubs, with Diomande having informed PSG management of his strong interest in signing with the reigning European champions during the upcoming summer transfer window.

His contract with Leipzig is set to expire in 2030, and the source indicated that his potential arrival at PSG would likely be accompanied by the departure of Goncalo Ramos, a Portuguese forward, to AC Milan, with whom PSG has reportedly reached an agreement.

Diomande was born in Abidjan and spent a brief period, a few months, in 2025 with Leganes, a Spanish club that was then part of La Liga, before joining Leipzig, where he has played for one season and scored 12 goals in the Bundesliga.
