Otu marks APC chairman Yilwatda's 58th birthday with festivities

Cross River State Governor, Senator Bassey Otu, has extended his warmest congratulations to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, on the occasion of his 58th birthday.

Otu expressed his conviction that under Yilwatda's leadership, the party would be well-positioned to achieve greater electoral success in the run-up to the 2027 general elections.

In a goodwill message signed by his Chief of Staff, Emmanuel Ironbar, on Tuesday, the governor described Yilwatda as a seasoned administrator and politician whose extensive experience would greatly benefit the party.

Otu commended Yilwatda for his tireless efforts to bolster the APC and foster unity among its members, emphasizing the need for cohesive leadership to consolidate the party's structures and broaden its political base nationwide.

According to Otu, Yilwatda's diverse background in academia, electoral administration, public service, and politics has equipped him with the necessary experience to lead the party during a critical phase in the country's political development.

The governor stated that he is confident Yilwatda will continue to leverage his experience and political acumen to build a stronger and more united APC, capable of achieving greater electoral success.

Otu expressed optimism that under Yilwatda's leadership, the party would deepen its presence across the states, strengthen its grassroots structures, and secure more victories in the 2027 elections.

He noted that a united, focused, and determined APC would consolidate its achievements, expand its electoral frontiers, and renew the confidence of Nigerians in the party as the 2027 elections approach.
