Veteran Nollywood actress and filmmaker Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde sparked excitement on social media by sharing a video from her daughter Meriah's engagement ceremony.

Meriah, a 26-year-old apparel product developer also known as Meraiah or Mimi, had announced her engagement two days prior, captioning it "New chapter".

Meriah is one of the four children of Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde and her husband, Captain Matthew Ekeinde, a pilot, who have been married since 1996 and marked 30 years of marriage earlier this year.
