This opportunity is specifically designed for early and mid-career professionals from Nigeria and Ghana, who are seeking to undertake a one-year Master's degree at prestigious Irish universities, as disclosed by the embassy in a recent post on its X handle on Friday.

The embassy's post excitedly declared that the application period for the Ireland Fellows Programme is scheduled to commence on June 29, 2026, and invited interested individuals to apply for the fully funded Master's scholarship to study in Ireland.

Prospective applicants from Nigeria and Ghana can access detailed information about the programme and its application process through the official Ireland Fellows Programme portal, according to the embassy's announcement.

To be eligible for the programme, applicants must be resident nationals of either Nigeria or Ghana, hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree with a Second Class Lower grade, and possess at least three years of relevant work experience, as outlined by the embassy.

Nigerian applicants will also have the opportunity to apply for the Roger Casement Fellowship in Human Rights, which is focused on Master's programmes in Law, Human Rights, and Governance, as part of the Ireland Fellows Programme.

The scholarship package is comprehensive, covering tuition fees, a monthly allowance, accommodation stipends, flight and visa costs, as well as health insurance, ensuring that awardees can focus on their studies without financial burdens.
