New efforts to reunify the PDP are currently underway, according to Turaki

A fresh reconciliation process designed to unify the fractured factions within the Peoples Democratic Party has been initiated, as confirmed by the Tanimu Turaki (SAN)-led National Working Committee, which is backed by the party's governors.

Tanimu Turaki revealed this information to journalists in Abuja on Wednesday, stating that the reconciliation efforts, which began last night and continued into the morning, have already shown some positive outcomes.

According to Turaki, the leaders of both factions are now collaborating to find solutions, indicating that reconciliation is indeed underway and that all hope is not yet lost.

He noted that those who stood to gain from the crisis and opposed reconciliation have been excluded from the process since last night, allowing both sides to make progress between then and this morning.

Turaki urged party supporters to exercise restraint and avoid actions that could jeopardize the ongoing reconciliation efforts.
