The new commencement date for the orientation course in the affected states is set for Wednesday, August 12, 2026, as announced by the NYSC.

The schedule for the orientation course includes a cut-off and swearing-in ceremony on Friday, August 14, and a closing ceremony on Tuesday, September 1.
