The All Progressives Congress has written to the Federal High Court in Abuja to argue that an order for substituted service granted against President Bola Tinubu in the suit filed by Atiku Abubakar and the African Democratic Congress was needless.

3. US announces new visa restrictions for birth tourism facilitators

The United States has announced new visa restrictions targeting people who knowingly engage in or facilitate “birth tourism” to the country.

n

US Secretary of State, Marco Rubio, said the policy would apply to owners, operators and managers of commercial birth tourism networks, visa “fixers” who coach applicants to commit fraud, and foreign medical providers who knowingly facilitate such travel.

4. Okoye faces backlash over habitual Eagles late arrival

Super Eagles goalkeeper Maduka Okoye is the last player to report to the team’s camp in Uyo ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau.

The Super Eagles camp opened on Sunday, with 23 players arriving on Monday and taking part in the team’s first training session, leaving the Udinese goalkeeper as the only absentee.
