Lagos LCDA chairman congratulates Hamzat at 62

The Chairman of Bariga Local Council Development Area, Adedeji Bukola Omope, has congratulated the Lagos State Deputy Governor, Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, on his 62nd birthday.

Omope, in a statement on the occasion on Saturday, praised Hamzat’s contributions to the administration of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his role in the development of Lagos State.

She also praised his working relationship with Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, noting that the partnership had contributed to the progress of the state.

“We celebrate a distinguished public servant, and a man whose wisdom, humility, candour and unwavering commitment to Lagos State continue to inspire many,” Omope said.

The council chairman, who congratulated Hamzat on behalf of the government and people of Bariga LCDA, also commended him for his service to the state.

She said, “Your steadfast partnership with our indefatigable Governor, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu, and your contributions to the progress and development of our dear state would continue to be appreciated.”

Omope prayed for continued good health and wisdom for the deputy governor, who is also the All Progressives Congress governorship candidate in the 2027 Lagos State election.

“As you mark this remarkable milestone, we pray that Almighty God will grant you wisdom, sound health and many more fulfilling years in service to Lagos State and humanity,” she said.
