Raphinha scored a hat-trick as Barcelona beat Sevilla 3-1 at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium to extend their winning run in La Liga.
nAs reported by BBC Sport on Saturday, the Brazil international struck three times after Sevilla had taken an early lead, producing another clinical display to take his tally to 14 goals in all competitions this season.
nSevilla opened the scoring in the 19th minute when Felix Correia’s cross found Youssouf Fofana at the near post, with the midfielder heading past Barcelona goalkeeper.
nBarcelona responded just three minutes later. Raphinha cut inside before calmly firing beyond Odysseas Vlachodimos to level the game.
nYamal was the supplier again in the 69th minute when he slipped in Raphinha with an exquisite pass and the 29-year-old deftly chipped it over Vlachodimos.
nIt sealed a seventh straight league win for Barca – their eighth in all competitions – while Sevilla remain in fifth place on 13 points.
