La Liga: ‘I am ready to die for Mourinho’ — Diomande

Real Madrid marquee signing Yan Diomande has expressed his strong admiration for José Mourinho, saying he is ready to give everything for the Portuguese manager.
nThe Ivorian forward was quoted as saying players develop a special bond with Mourinho when they work under him.
nAs reported by Fabrizio Romano on X on Friday, Diomande was quoted as saying, “When you play for José Mourinho, you want to DIE for him. I am ready to die for him,” Diomande said.
nHe insisted that he feels no pressure following the significant transfer fee spent to bring him to his new club.
nThe young forward said the money involved in his transfer is a reflection of the club’s belief in his ability, rather than something that should make him nervous.
n“They spent a lot of money because they believe in me; why will I be scared?
n“I’m not scared; I feel no pressure. I will do what I do, and God will do the rest,” he added.
nDiomande’s comments underline his confidence as he looks to justify the club’s investment and establish himself at his new destination.
nPUNCH Online had reported that Madrid completed the signing of the Ivory Coast international from RB Leipzig in a deal worth up to €140 million (£120 million), with the highly rated teenager signing a seven-year contract at the Santiago Bernabéu.n
