Joshua outlines expectations for Fury prior to comeback

Joshua and Fury have formally signed contracts to settle a decade-long debate regarding a domestic showdown, but they must first successfully navigate separate warm-up assignments, with Joshua set to face Kristian Prenga on Saturday in Jeddah and Fury scheduled to take on 46-year-old veteran Mariusz Wach in Thailand.

Sean Murphy, Joshua's first-ever boxing coach, revealed the bespoke bag, explaining that it was specifically designed to mimic Fury, with a particular focus on reproducing the Gypsy King's chin for practice purposes, as told to DAZN.

Murphy also disclosed that Joshua had personally funded the bespoke bag and had provided all the bags currently hanging in the gym, in addition to financing other refurbishments at the facility, including new ring covers and a renovation of the female changing room.

At 36 years old, Joshua has made a vow to never underestimate an opponent again, following his stunning loss to Andy Ruiz Jr in 2019, which occurred while he was focused on a potential fight with Deontay Wilder, and he is now being cautious not to look past his upcoming opponent, Prenga.

Joshua's bout on Saturday will be his first contest since a car accident resulted in the loss of two of his close friends, and it comes ten days after he defeated Jake Paul in a highly anticipated crossover fight.
