Content creator Adebayo Ridwan, popularly known as Isbae U, has opened up about the difficult period he experienced when he was caught up in a controversy involving sex-for-roles allegations and leaked videos.

During this period, Isbae U said the backlash made him fear that his career was coming to an end.

He stated that those who once spoke positively about him began making negative comments.

n

During that difficult time, he disclosed that he turned to fellow content creator Mr Macaroni to ask if the controversy would spell the end of his career.

“2022 was a tough time for me. It was the first time I was going through something like that, and then I asked Mr Macaroni, ‘Is this the end?’ This is because you never know how powerful people are in your life until they turn their backs on you.

“People who always commented positively started commenting negatively without caring about whatever you are going through. That is why it is called the public; they all have an opinion.”

Speaking on how he got over it, he said, “So, all I did was just focus on doing better, getting better at my craft and becoming a better person. I focused on giving them entertainment.

“I stepped back from posting anything about my life and I kept giving them entertainment. How they feel is their concern, and I focused on doing better.”

On the idea behind the interviews and who would be his next guest, he said the aim was not simply to ask celebrities conventional questions but to reveal a different side of them to the public.

He added that he would love to interview the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump.

“The idea of Curiosity Made Me Ask is to show you another part of this celebrity you’ve not seen.

“I would like to interview Trump,” he said.

Recall that in 2022, a popular gossip site, GistLover, called out Isbae U for refusing to pay a lady who claimed he had promised to send her money after they had made explicit video calls together.

The gossip site alleged that the lady shared explicit videos of Isbae U, asking that they be posted since he had refused to pay her.

Following the sex-for-roles allegations, Isbae U made a public apology.
