Guardiola rejects Italian coaching offer to focus on personal life, according to sources

Pep Guardiola has turned down the chance to become the head coach of Italy's national team, with personal reasons cited as the driving force behind this decision, rather than financial considerations.
nThe renowned manager is currently taking a break from coaching, prioritizing his family at this time, and will wait for the ideal opportunity to resume his managerial career.
nAccording to Football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Guardiola's decision to decline the offer was based on personal grounds, and he will return to coaching when the right project presents itself, allowing him to devote time to his family for now.
nGuardiola has established an impressive coaching career, achieving numerous accolades with prominent clubs such as Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Manchester City, including multiple domestic league titles and UEFA Champions League triumphs.
nItaly had expressed interest in appointing Guardiola as the national team's head coach, but he opted against taking on the role at this juncture, despite being one of the most sought-after managers in world football.
nHis decision to decline the offer is not expected to diminish interest in his services, as his eventual return to coaching is likely to generate significant attention, with the 55-year-old choosing to step away from the pressures of management for the time being.
nItalian Football Federation president Giovanni Malago has confirmed that Guardiola had engaged in discussions with the federation regarding the possibility of becoming the Italy national team's next head coach.
