The Bayelsa State Government has banned imposition and collection of Development Levy from investors and property developers by Community Development Committees (CDC), youth organisation and related groups in the state forthwith. rnrnThis is part of government’s commitment to fast tract development, prevent extra burden on investors and promote business friendly environment.rnrnIn view of this, Community Development Committees, youth organisations are hereby advised to desist from demanding or collecting development levy in their own interest.rnrnHowever, companies will continue to undertake corporate social responsibility projects within the framework of regulations by relevant agencies.rnrnGovernment expects full compliance, please. rnrnHon.
