Gombe APC gov consensus candidate pledges inclusive governance

The consensus governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Gombe State, Jamil Gwamna, has reaffirmed his commitment to prioritising the development of the state and the welfare of its people if elected.

Speaking to party members, stakeholders, and residents of the state, Gwamna said his aspiration was driven by a sense of responsibility, humility, and dedication to the collective progress of Gombe State.

This was contained in a press statement signed by Ibrahim Shawai, the media aide to the consensus candidate.

The statement partly read, “Gombe First is not just a slogan. It is a commitment to place the interest of Gombe people above all.

It means Gombe first in development, unity, and opportunity for all.”

The APC candidate assured Gombe residents that his administration would be inclusive and people-oriented, promising that no one would be left behind regardless of gender, background, or social status.

He said his government would create an environment where every citizen would have a role to play in governance.

Gwamna also extended an olive branch to other aspirants within the party, describing them as partners in the quest for the development of Gombe State.

“We all share a common goal, the development of Gombe State. I extend my hand of partnership to all aspirants. Together, we are stronger,” he stated.

The governorship hopeful, commended Governor Muhammadu Yahaya for what he described as significant achievements in infrastructure, education, healthcare, and other sectors, noting that the current administration had laid a strong foundation for growth and stability.

Thus, he pledged to consolidate on the gains of the present administration while accelerating development across key sectors, including education, healthcare, agriculture, infrastructure, youth empowerment, and human capital development.

Gwamna further reiterated his support for the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Tinubu, saying it aligns with the federal government’s vision to open more opportunities for economic growth, job creation, and improved living standards in the state.

He promised to run a responsive government that listens to the people and delivers tangible results.

Calling on residents to embrace unity and purposeful leadership, Gwamna implored them to work with him for a better future.

“This is our moment to choose unity over division, progress over politics, and leadership that truly works for the people,” he said.

He urged the people to join hands with him to build a stronger, united, and more prosperous Gombe State.
