Manchester United have been drawn against Brighton, while holders Manchester City will host Norwich.

Arsenal travel to Ipswich, and Aston Villa face Coventry away from home.

Bournemouth will take on Lincoln, while Sunderland have been paired with Hull. Newcastle travel to Millwall, with Everton hosting Wolves.

Fleetwood, the only fourth-tier side remaining in the competition, have been handed a home tie against Sheffield United.

Elsewhere, Crystal Palace face Middlesbrough, Leyton Orient meet Bradford, Reading host Brentford and Peterborough take on Barnsley.

The final two ties will be confirmed after Chelsea host Luton and Fulham face AFC Wimbledon.

The third-round matches will be played across the weeks beginning September 7 and September 14, with the schedule arranged to avoid clashes with the opening rounds of European competition.
