Friday UTME results to be released before midnight — JAMB

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced that results for candidates who sat the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination on Friday, April 17, will be released before midnight on Saturday.

The announcement was made by JAMB’s Public Communication Advisor, Fabian Benjamin, in a post shared on his official X handle on Saturday.

According to him, an official public notice would be issued once the results are released, and the update would also be published on his page.

The post read, “The results of the UTME conducted on Friday, 17 April 2026, will be released before midnight today.

“Follow me for prompt updates as soon as the results are officially released.”

The UTME, which commenced nationwide on Thursday, is expected to have over two million candidates participating across various computer-based test centres.

Earlier, JAMB had released results for candidates who sat for the examination on Thursday, with 632,788 results made available for viewing.
