Frank Edoho shuts down possibility of tying the knot again, vows to remain single

Renowned television host and media personality Frank Edoho has declared that he has no intention of ever entering into a romantic relationship or getting married again, describing his current single life as a “superpower.”

Edoho disclosed on his verified X (formerly Twitter) handle on Sunday, while reacting to an X user who commented on his recent decision to decline to offer marital advice to newlywed content creators, Habeeb Hamzat, popularly called Peller, and Amadou Elizabeth, also known as Jarvis.

The exchange began after Edoho publicly refrained from giving advice to the young couple, stating that he knew “nothing about marriage” and could only offer prayers for their union.

Analysing Edoho’s cautious stance, an X user with the handle #JJ27581708 posted, “#frankedoho is being sincere. He knows a lot about marriage and knows many ways it can fail. However, knowing the psychology of Nigerians, he knows his advice will be marred, in their eyes, by his marital setbacks. Hopefully, Frank will find a woman who will show him true love.”

Replying directly to the user, the former ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire’ host agreed with the user’s assessment of public perception surrounding his past relationships, but firmly rejected the idea of seeking love again.

“How wise of you. You are absolutely right about everything but that last part,” Edoho wrote.

“There’s a superpower that comes with being alone, and it’s beautiful. I’m definitely not finding any woman. Not ever.”

Edoho’s firm stance against remarriage follows public scrutiny over his personal life and past marital challenges.

PUNCH reports that Edoho’s first marriage to broadcaster Katherine Obiang ended in a separation years ago and generated public attention at the time.

He later married Sandra Onyenucheya, a union that also hit the rocks, culminating in a widely publicised separation.n

Edoho recently also addressed the fallout from his past relationships, publicly expressing trauma from his marital experiences and stating that he never wants a woman to be the cause of his death.n
