Former RCCG youth minister faces investigation amid allegations of improper sexual behavior

The Redeemed Christian Church of God has initiated an internal disciplinary process regarding allegations of sexual misconduct made against Adefolarin Fowosere, also known as Pastor Ade Fire, which have been circulating on social media.

Fowosere, 22, previously served as the lead pastor of RCCG The Revival House, a church focused on teenagers and young adults, and was associated with the church's teens ministry.

Allegations surfaced on X and TikTok, accusing the youth pastor of sexual misconduct, abuse of pastoral authority, and exploitation involving multiple women.

When contacted by PUNCH Online, Fowosere requested a text message be sent to him, which he read but did not respond to the specific allegations.

A man identifying himself as Fowosere's media spokesperson, Mr Daniel, later contacted PUNCH Online, stating that the church was handling the matter through its internal disciplinary process.

According to Mr Daniel, Fowosere has been reporting to Mummy GO's office for about a week or two, even before the social media discussions started, and every necessary unit concerned with the matter is involved.

The church has yet to issue an official public statement on the allegations, which have generated widespread reactions on social media, including claims by several women accusing Fowosere of sexual misconduct and abuse.

One woman alleged on TikTok that Fowosere exploited his position as a spiritual leader to engage in inappropriate relationships with young women, among other claims.

Similar allegations have also been shared by other social media users, but PUNCH Online has not independently verified any of the allegations.

As of the time of filing this report, no law enforcement agency had announced criminal charges against Fowosere.

The church's internal disciplinary process is expected to determine its position on the matter.
