Footage Reveals: Police Chief Informs Adeleke That Suspects Are Allegedly Taking Refuge in Government Premises

Olatunji Disu, the Inspector-General of Police, revealed that he had been briefed about allegations of certain criminal suspects being harbored at the Osun State Government House.
nThis disclosure was made during a meeting with Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke at the Government House in Osogbo on Friday.
nDisu informed the governor that he had received complaints regarding the performance of Osun State Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Gotan, which had allegedly left Adeleke and others dissatisfied.
nThe IGP acknowledged the grievances, stating, "If I tell you, sir, that I have not had complaints, I have lied, and I will explain everything to you one by one, sir."
nDisu further stated, "I have heard that you are not happy, and some people are not happy with the Commissioner of Police for this reason and that reason," addressing the governor directly.
nThe Commissioner of Police had also reportedly briefed Disu on allegations that suspects wanted by the police were taking refuge in the Government House, prompting the IGP to question the legitimacy of such actions.
nDisu expressed his concern, saying, "He, too, has briefed me, he briefed me that some suspects he is looking for are hibernating in the Government House, I looked at that, if that is true, why should suspects be in the Government House?"
nThe IGP revealed that he had provided guidance to the commissioner on how to handle the situation, and also mentioned that he was aware of allegations that certain parties were harboring suspected criminals.
nDisu stated, "I have told him how to go about it, I have heard that this party and that party are hibernating suspected criminals," without identifying the suspects or providing further details on the allegations.
