Footage Emerges of Portable and Okocha Exchanging Heated Verbal Jabs Before Upcoming Rematch

Habeeb Okikiola, known to fans as Portable, and actor Charles Okocha, were involved in a tense verbal altercation during a live interview on Wednesday, as their rivalry heats up ahead of their upcoming celebrity boxing rematch on July 31.
nThe confrontation took place on a TVC programme called Chaos in the Ring, where the two were joined by a moderator to discuss their impending bout, with Portable repeatedly asserting his confidence in defeating Okocha once again.
nPortable boasted about his preparations and his previous victory over the actor, stating "I’m the man… I go prepare, I don prepare, I go win again, I go fight again, I go beat Charles Okocha", and also mentioned his relationship with British rapper Skepta, urging Nigerians to have faith in him.
nPortable further declared that he was already the winner before the fight, saying he was ready to defend himself in the rematch, before standing up abruptly and throwing fake punches at Okocha.
nOkocha responded by telling Portable to save his energy for the actual fight, saying "So what are you talking about? Can you save that for the ring? Can you save that on the 31st? Don’t disrespect me! I’m not your mate, don’t disrespect me!"
nThe programme’s presenter intervened, attempting to calm Portable down and steer the discussion back to the fight, saying "Portable… Portable, calm down, it’s understandable that this energy is on right here".
nThe rematch is a result of Portable’s unanimous decision victory over Okocha in their first meeting, after the actor activated the rematch clause, and both fighters have continued to exchange verbal threats while training separately.
nPortable has announced plans to challenge fellow singer Terry G to another celebrity boxing bout after facing Okocha, and has claimed he will continue his boxing career alongside his music career.
nPortable has also stated that he has already received ₦50 million from a reported ₦150 million purse for the July 31 fight, and remains confident of securing another victory over Okocha.
