FAAN denies ongoing recruitment drive, fake employment offer

The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria has disowned a fake “Letter of Provisional Offer of Employment” being circulated by unauthorised persons claiming to represent the authority.
nFAAN, in a statement on X on Thursday, said it is not currently conducting any recruitment exercise and has no connection with the purported employment letter or related job offers.
nThe authority warned members of the public against falling victim to the fraudulent recruitment scheme, urging them not to make payments or provide personal information to the individuals behind the fake offers.
n“FAAN wishes to state categorically that the Authority is not currently conducting any recruitment exercise and disassociates itself from this letter and any related employment offers,” the statement said.
nIt added, “Members of the public are advised not to make payments, provide personal information, or engage with individuals issuing such offers.”
nFAAN urged the public to remain vigilant and verify all recruitment-related information before taking any action.
n“All authentic information regarding recruitment will be communicated through FAAN’s official channels,” the authority said.
nFAAN also advised members of the public to stay alert and avoid responding to unauthorised employment offers that could expose them to financial or identity fraud.
