nThe organisation has stated that accepting red cells, white cells, plasma or platelets is now a matter of individual conscience, while its long-standing refusal of whole-blood transfusions remains unchanged. Local congregations will not interfere in members’ personal decisions on the matter.n

3. US charges three Nigerians, 13 others over election crimes
nGladys Adaeze Okafor, Helen Sayen Adams and Joshua Nmelichukwu Akpom face charges related to illegal voting and false citizenship claims. The cases form part of a broader set of 16 defendants from several countries accused of election-related offences. All are presumed innocent until proven guilty.n
