Edo Governor Reiterates Pledge to Drive Development

Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, has reaffirmed his administration's commitment to transforming the state, describing his recent accolade from the St. Maria Goretti Old Girls Association as a shared tribute to all Edo State citizens.

The recognition was bestowed upon Governor Okpebholo in the form of the prestigious OPAL Award for Excellent Performance, presented during the 2026 SMAGOGA Awards and Alumni Gala Night at Madison Place.

Lady Omorede Osifo, Special Adviser to the Governor on Women Mobilisation, accepted the honor on behalf of Governor Okpebholo.

This recognition follows closely on the heels of Governor Okpebholo being named 2025 Best Governor of the Year in Education by New Telegraph Newspaper.
