Davido Set to Top the Bill at Inaugural Crystal Palace Bowl Music Festival in the UK

Nigerian Afrobeats sensation Adeleke Davido, famously known as Davido, has announced the launch of his inaugural festival, dubbed "Davido & Friends", which is slated to occur at the Crystal Palace Bowl on Friday, August 14, 2026.

Through a post on his X handle on Monday, the artist, also referred to as OBO, made the declaration, stating "For the first time ever, I present to you… Davido & Friends Festival" and "It's going down at Crystal Palace Bowl on August 14th".

The festival is part of the "Palace Bowl Presents" series, a diverse summer festival lineup at the outdoor venue in South London, scheduled to run from July 31 to August 16, 2026.

Davido will be headlining and curating the full-day lineup on August 14, with the show expected to feature a selection of "friends" who have yet to be announced.

This announcement follows Davido's 2025 tour, which took place to promote his fifth studio album, 5IVE, across Africa and Europe, where he held multiple award-winning performances.

The 5IVE Tour saw Davido perform in several cities, including Akwa Ibom, Adamawa, Enugu, Ibadan, and Lagos, from October to December.
