COMPLETE ROSTER: 68 Attorneys Receive Senior Advocate of Nigeria Designation

The Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee has announced the elevation of 68 lawyers to the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria, with the newly appointed advocates listed in order of their seniority at the Bar.

This decision was made during the 174th plenary session of the LPPC, which took place on Thursday in Abuja under the chairmanship of the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun.

A statement released on Thursday by Kabir Akan, the Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court of Nigeria and Secretary of the LPPC, disclosed the development and the names of the successful applicants.

The newly elevated Senior Advocates include Ibrahim Gamdeh Adamu, Esq., Jude Chukwuemeka Okafor, Esq., and Godwill Achibong Umoh, Esq., among others.

Other successful applicants are Sunday Samuel Obende, Esq., Adebayo Olugbenga Adaralegbe, Esq., Jimson Ejovi Okodaso, Esq., and Olalekan Lawrence Bade-John, Esq.

The list also includes Olaotan Thomas Olusegun, Esq., Philemeon Audu Daffi, Esq., Adenrele David Adegborioye, Esq., James Eromosele Agbonhese, Esq., and Alexander Nduka Muoka, Esq.

Onome Okodiya, Esq., Emmanuel Akunke Akomaye, Esq., Ikhide Ehighelua, Esq., and Mas’ud Mobolaji Alabelewe, Esq. are also among the newly elevated Senior Advocates.

Ogunmuyiwa Olayinka Balogun, Esq., Anthony Auditz Iroagalachi, Esq., Mohammed Tajudeen Mohammed, Esq., and Odion Peter Odia, Esq. have also been appointed as Senior Advocates.

Additionally, Gbemiga Adaramola, Esq., Moses Okoh Onyilokwu, Esq., Charles Azubuike Obodozie, Esq., Hakeem Obafemi Agaba, Esq., and Bimbo Felix Atilola, Esq. have been elevated to the rank of Senior Advocate.

The list of successful applicants further includes Okechukwu Steve Emelieze, Esq., Joshua Demilade Olaniyan, Esq., Igonikon Abiola Adekunle, Esq., Christian Nnadozie Nwokorie, Esq., and Sadiku Momoh Ilegieuno, Esq.

Sarafa Kolawole Idowu, Esq., Olujoke Enitan Aliu, Esq., Oliver Onyenucheya Amuzie, Esq., Adebisi Emmanuel Adeniyi, Esq., and Faruk Abdullah, Esq. have also been appointed as Senior Advocates.

The newly elevated Senior Advocates also include Sagir Gezawa Suleiman, Esq., Ifeanyi Godwin Ezeuko, Esq., Adebayo Folorunsho Ologe, Esq., Sabiu Gumba Adamu, Esq., and Eric Keme-Egolukumor Omare, Esq.

Soibi Ideriah Ovia, Esq., Somina Peter Johnbull, Esq., Chinedum Ikenna Umeche, Esq., Emmanuel Eghiegba Ekhasemomhe, Esq., and Mohammed El-Hassan Sheriff, Esq. are also among the successful applicants.

Junaidu Bello Marshall, Esq., Olawale Sunday Fapohunda, Esq., Adebiyi Alaba Adetoboye, Esq., Senior Sulyman Ibrahim, Esq., and Agba Eimunjeze, Esq. have been elevated to the rank of Senior Advocate.

Ayobamidele Oyekunle Akande, Esq., Adetunji Taiwo Adedoyin Adeniyi, Esq., Olamide Moigbotoluwa Adekunle, Esq., Umaru Yunusa, Esq., and Akorede Habeeb Lawal, Esq. are also among the newly appointed Senior Advocates.

Darlington Nnabuike Ozurumba, Esq., Nnaemeka Francis Patrick Egonu, Esq., Kayode Orire Omosehin, Esq., Mitchel Akinrinsola Aribisala, Esq., and Bolu Agbaje Akadri, Esq. have been appointed as Senior Advocates.

Oluwaseun Asimiyu Alao, Esq., Olugbenga Olusanya Ajala, Esq., Mustapha Olayinka Ajenifuja, Esq., Afees Hassan Adebayo, Esq., and Mohammed Abiodun Adelodun, Esq. are also among the successful applicants.

Jonathan Akintola Makinde, Esq. and Olajide Salami, Esq. have been elevated to the rank of Senior Advocate, in addition to the others listed.

In the Academic Category, the successful applicant is Prof. Nnamdi Onyeka Obiaraeri.
