Canadian-based Nigerian wife requires spouse to take infidelity vow prior to visa sponsorship application

Ezinne Nwanorue, a Nigerian woman residing in Canada, has ignited a social media frenzy by disclosing the precondition she set for her husband before consenting to sponsor his relocation to the country.

As a self-described "prophetic intercessor, certified marriage counsellor, wife and mum of three boys," Ezinne stipulated that her husband must publicly vow to remain faithful to her as a condition of his relocation.

According to Ezinne, this directive was divinely inspired, and she insisted that her husband, Franklin Nwanorue, must record a video declaration and share it on Facebook and WhatsApp before being granted a visa.

In a Facebook post published on Tuesday, Ezinne outlined the terms of her condition, stating that her husband must create a video confessing that if he cheats on her after relocating to Canada, he will die, "in the name of Jesus."

Ezinne also required her husband to publicly pledge his devotion to their family, promising to be a faithful spouse and a good father to their children.

She emphasized that this was the only means by which God would grant her husband a visa to enter Canada, as she quoted, "thus said the Lord!!!".
