Burna Boy Reaches Massive 644 Million Listener Milestone on YouTube Music Platform

Burna Boy, the Grammy-winning Nigerian singer, has achieved a staggering 644 million monthly audience on YouTube Music, solidifying his position as the top-ranked artist among the platform's current top five Nigerian acts, with a notable 6.41 million subscribers.
nAccording to the latest YouTube Music rankings, which were viewed on Monday, Burna Boy surpasses other prominent Nigerian artists, including Asake, who has 2.06 million subscribers and 11.6 million monthly audience, as well as Wizkid, with 3.67 million subscribers and 24.2 million monthly audience.
nSeyi Vibez and Davido also trail behind Burna Boy, with 500,000 subscribers and 3.28 million monthly audience, and 5.04 million subscribers and 25.4 million monthly audience, respectively.
nThe platform's top 10 list also features notable artists such as Omah Lay, with 2.78 million subscribers, BNXN, with 506,000 subscribers, Young Jonn, with 457,000 subscribers, Rema, with 5.55 million subscribers, and Odumodublvck, with 310,000 subscribers.
nThis recent achievement adds to Burna Boy's impressive streak on global streaming platforms, following his milestone as the African artist with the highest monthly listeners on Spotify, where he peaked at 46.84 million monthly listeners.
nThis feat allowed him to surpass South African star Tyla's previous record of 46.58 million monthly listeners, with the global success of his song "Dai Dai," a collaboration with Colombian music icon Shakira, being a significant driving factor.
nThe song's selection as the official anthem of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and its performance at the opening ceremony contributed to its worldwide traction, boosting Burna Boy's global audience and reinforcing his position as one of Africa's biggest streaming stars.
