BREAKING: Blaze erupts at Lagos airport's Terminal 2 facility

A blaze broke out on Sunday at Terminal 2 of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, located in Lagos State, prompting a swift response from emergency services.
nThe Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, or FAAN, issued a statement on its official X handle to confirm the fire incident and reassure the public of its efforts to contain the situation.
nAccording to FAAN, its Aerodrome Rescue and Firefighting Service, abbreviated as ARFFS, was promptly deployed to the scene to tackle the fire and prevent it from spreading.
nIn a statement, FAAN notified the public of the incident, stating that a fire had occurred at Terminal 2 of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos, and that ARFFS was actively working to bring the situation under control.
nFortunately, FAAN reported that there were no casualties or loss of life resulting from the fire, a fact that was explicitly stated by the authority in its official statement.
nThe authority emphasized that it would provide further updates as more information becomes available, ensuring that the public remains informed about the incident and any subsequent developments.
