BREAKING: Blaze devastates Lagos oil storage facility
The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service is currently battling a fire outbreak at the Bono Energy Terminal in Coconut, Apapa area of the state.
nThe spokesperson for the LSFRS, Shakiru Amodu, confirmed this in a terse message sent to journalists on Friday.
nHe wrote, “The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service is currently curbing a Fire explosion at Bono Energy Terminal on Apapa-Oworonshoki Expressway, by Coconut, Olodi Apapa, Lagos. Update to follow.”
nThe cause of the fire could not be ascertained at the time of filing this report.
