Authorities to Explore Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Job Market at Upcoming Conference

Business leaders, human resource professionals, and policymakers are poised to gather in Lagos for the 2026 Beyond HR Conference, where they will delve into the implications of artificial intelligence, shifting workforce dynamics, and corporate performance, all under the banner of "Beyond HR: Leadership, Growth and Business Success".

This two-day event, scheduled for October in Lagos, is being organised by HR Talent Hub in collaboration with DAC Consulting, and comes at a pivotal moment for African businesses as they navigate the challenges of digital disruption and macroeconomic pressures.

With the rapid evolution of generative AI, automation, and hybrid working models, corporate leaders are facing increasing pressure to revamp talent acquisition, upskill employees, and manage changing workplace expectations while maintaining profitability.

Dr Omotola Dayo-Adedapo, Founder and Lead Consultant of HR Talent Hub, underscored the need for strategic agility, stressing that business executives must align human capital management with broader corporate goals, as "organisations can no longer treat people's strategy as separate from business strategy".
