A decades-old interview featuring Favour Agbro, a 20-year-old woman who allegedly died after being raped by a Delta-based content creator, has reemerged on social media, showcasing her thoughts on remaining a virgin until marriage, in a conversation conducted by Itz Patorchizzy in Asaba.

The interview resurfaced on Facebook on Thursday, after the content creator, Itz Patorchizzy, reshared the clip following reports of Favour Agbro's death, during which she expressed her intentions to stay a virgin until she got married.

Itz Patorchizzy initially expressed skepticism about Favour Agbro's claim of being a virgin, which prompted him to ask her a series of questions during the interview.

Favour Agbro disclosed that she did not have a boyfriend, responding with a simple "No" when asked if she was in a relationship, and further stated that she was single because she "just didn't have any" when asked why she was unattached.

When questioned about her body count, Favour Agbro replied, "None," and when asked if she was a virgin, she affirmed, "Yes," also revealing that she was "going to 21" when asked about her age.

Favour Agbro expressed her desire for a boyfriend, but emphasized the importance of finding someone willing to wait until marriage before engaging in sex, stating, "I'm looking for a boyfriend, but it's not really easy, it will be someone that is ready to wait till marriage."

She confirmed her intention to preserve her virginity until marriage when asked by the interviewer, responding in the affirmative.

The resurfaced interview has sparked widespread online reactions, with many users expressing sadness over the stark contrast between Favour Agbro's public aspirations and the circumstances surrounding her death.

The video resurfaced a day after the Delta State Police Command announced the arrest of Ifeanyi Ogbonna, also known as "Odogwu of Asaba," a popular content creator, over the alleged rape of the 20-year-old woman, which occurred after the police received a petition regarding the incident.

The arrest was disclosed in a statement on Wednesday, signed by the command's spokesperson, SP Bright Edafe, which stated that Ifeanyi Ogbonna had invited Favour Agbro to Asaba on June 1, 2026, with a promise to train her in content creation.

According to the police, after Favour Agbro arrived in Asaba, Ifeanyi Ogbonna took her to a hotel where he allegedly raped and assaulted her, and she later returned home visibly distressed, disclosing the incident to her parents.

The police stated that Favour Agbro made a video recording detailing her experience and the emotional trauma she suffered, and she subsequently committed suicide by ingesting a toxic substance, which ultimately led to her death despite efforts to save her life.

The Commissioner of Police in Delta State, Yemi Oyeniyi, directed the Area Command in Effurun to immediately investigate the allegations after receiving the petition, which led to the arrest of Ifeanyi Ogbonna.

According to the police, Ifeanyi Ogbonna made useful statements during preliminary interrogation, and investigations are ongoing, with the command assuring the deceased's family and the public that a thorough investigation would be carried out and anyone found culpable would face the full weight of the law.
