APC to Hold Campaign Council Session in Osun on Monday

Governor Hope Uzodimma, Chairman of the All Progressives Congress National Campaign Council for the Osun governorship election, and Deputy Senate President Barau Jibrin are set to oversee the campaign council's inaugural meeting on Monday.

This meeting, scheduled for 3 p.m. at the Kano State Governor’s Lodge, located at 30 Jose Marti Street, Asokoro, Abuja, is open to all council members, as stated in a notice issued by the APC National Campaign Council.

The notice, jointly signed by Uzodimma and Barau in their capacities as chairman and secretary, serves as a formal invitation to all members of the National Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress for the Osun State Governorship Election.

The statement issued by the council reads in part, “All members of the National Campaign Council of the All Progressives Congress for the Osun State Governorship Election are invited to the meeting of the council, which will take place on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.”

The meeting is set to occur at the Kano State Governor’s Lodge in Asokoro, as specified in the council's announcement, with all members expected to be in attendance.

The planned gathering follows the recent constitution of the 276-member National Campaign Council by the APC, as the party ramps up its efforts to claim Osun State from the Accord Party in the upcoming governorship election, just one week after the council's formation.
