AbdulRazaq vows to enhance conditions for Kwara state's judicial system

Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has underscored his administration's dedication to creating an ideal work environment for judicial officers, as evidenced by his visit to the construction site of the Justice Saidu Kawu Court House in Ilorin, the state capital.

The governor's inspection revealed his satisfaction with the project's progress, praising the multistorey judicial complex as a key component of his efforts to bolster the administration of justice through enhanced infrastructure.

A statement released on Thursday by the Deputy Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mashood Agboola, outlined the governor's remarks during the inspection, highlighting his commitment to providing the judiciary with modern facilities.

AbdulRazaq expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating that "the work is going on very well" and emphasizing the importance of providing the judiciary with a better working environment.

The governor reiterated his administration's resolve to deliver a judicial complex that meets modern standards, thereby improving the administration of justice in the state, drawing inspiration from the achievements of His Excellency Nyesom Wike.

He emphasized the need for judges to work in offices and infrastructure that meet high standards, rather than sub-standard facilities, and expressed his desire to set a precedent that can be emulated nationwide.

Accompanying the governor on the inspection, the Chief Judge of Kwara State, Justice Abiodun Adebara, praised the administration's investment in judicial infrastructure, expressing his admiration for the project.

Adebara commended Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for his efforts, stating that he was "highly impressed and elated" by what he saw during the inspection, and thanked the governor on behalf of the Kwara State judiciary.

The project is expected to consolidate courts currently scattered across Ilorin, improving the efficiency of justice delivery, and will ultimately provide a compact headquarters for the judiciary in the state capital.

Upon completion, the Justice Saidu Kawu Court House will enable other courts to accommodate more judges, facilitating the smooth administration of justice in the state, as noted by Adebara, who expressed his gratitude to the governor for his support.
