Nigerian music sensation Wizkid has entered the fray in the escalating dispute between his long-time associate DJ Tunez and Burna Boy, firing a verbal shot that has significantly heightened the animosity between the parties.

The development comes on the heels of a heated exchange between Burna Boy and DJ Tunez, also known as Ogbafia, at Obi's House, a prominent exclusive hangout in Lagos, where a verbal altercation quickly turned physical.

Wizkid took to his official X account on Tuesday to aim a subtle yet pointed jab at Burna Boy, refraining from mentioning his name while referencing his connection to American music executive Sean 'Diddy' Combs.

In a post laced with sarcasm, Wizkid wrote, "P** nigga Jump a dj with 10man carry diddy towel Dey dance, I never see fool like this diddy babe for my life," accompanied by laughter emojis, in a clear swipe at Burna Boy.

Burna Boy had previously sparked controversy by sharing a video of himself dancing to 'Money Constant,' with altered lyrics that appeared to mock DJ Tunez, saying "Ogbafia dey for ground" in a move perceived as ridiculing the DJ following their altercation.

The Nigerian DJ Association has subsequently imposed a temporary ban on Burna Boy's music, pending a thorough investigation into the matter.
