Voting commences across Ekiti as elderly, young voters participate

Accreditation and voting commenced in parts of Ekiti State on Saturday, with elderly and young voters among those participating in the electoral process.
nAt Polling Unit 015, Registration Area 2, in Ado Ekiti Local Government Area, accreditation and voting began at about 8:30 a.m. Among the early voters was 56-year-old Ojo Omowumi Hannah, who cast her ballot from a wheelchair.
nSimilarly, voting was ongoing at Polling Unit 03, Ward 6, in Ekiti West Local Government Area, where an elderly woman was seen casting her vote.
nAt Open Space Akinlaja Hall, Polling Unit 011, Atiba Aafin, Ward 01, Ikere Ekiti, 20-year-old voter Adesola Bello said she turned out to vote because of her desire for good governance.
n“I am interested in good governance; that is why I came out to vote for the candidate of my choice. I want the government to empower physically challenged persons in society,” she said.
