The United States is engaged in discussions about hosting a second round of peace negotiations with Iran, with Pakistan emerging as a potential venue, according to the White House, which expressed optimism on Wednesday about the likelihood of securing an agreement.
Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt informed reporters that talks are indeed underway, and the administration is optimistic about the prospects, stating "we feel good about the prospects of a deal" and noting that any subsequent discussions "would very likely" take place in Islamabad.
