Trump reveals demolition of Iran's highest span

US President Donald Trump declared on Thursday that the tallest bridge in Iran had been demolished, following his earlier threat to launch a bombing campaign that would set the country back to the Stone Ages.

In a social media post, Trump shared footage of smoke billowing from the B1 bridge in Karaj, approximately 20 miles southwest of Tehran, and cautioned that further destruction would ensue unless Iran agreed to negotiate an end to the five-week conflict.

Trump's message was unequivocal: "The biggest bridge in Iran comes tumbling down, never to be used again – Much more to follow! IT IS TIME FOR IRAN TO MAKE A DEAL BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE, AND THERE IS NOTHING LEFT OF WHAT STILL COULD BECOME A GREAT COUNTRY!", he warned.

Prior to Trump's announcement, Iranian state television reported that the B1 bridge had been targeted in two separate US-Israeli strikes, with the first attack resulting in two civilian casualties.

According to state TV, the second strike occurred while emergency responders were attending to the victims of the initial attack, with the American-Zionist enemy once again targeting the bridge in Karaj "a few minutes ago".

The B1 bridge, still under construction, stands at an impressive 447-foot column, making it the tallest in the Middle East, as reported by Fars/Iranian media.

In a speech delivered on Wednesday, Trump asserted that the war, launched by the US and Israel on February 28, was nearing its conclusion, despite his concurrent threat to unleash extreme force on Iran if it failed to comply with his demands.

During his first prime-time address to the nation on the war, Trump vowed that "over the next two to three weeks, we are going to bring them back to the Stone Ages, where they belong", if Iran refused to acquiesce to his terms.
