Trump Announces Plan to Escort American Vessels Through Strait of Hormuz Starting Monday

US President Donald Trump announced on Sunday that the United States will provide escort services for ships traversing the Strait of Hormuz, starting Monday, in response to requests from numerous countries worldwide.
nAccording to Trump, the initiative aims to benefit Iran, the Middle East, and the United States, by ensuring the safe passage of ships through restricted waterways, thereby allowing them to conduct their business without hindrance.
nTrump revealed the details of this plan, dubbed Project Freedom, in a post on his Truth Social platform, stating that the operation will commence on Monday morning, Middle East time.
