Yenagoa, Bayelsa State – A fatal accident has once again cast a shadow over the busy Tombia–Amassoma Road, as a tipper truck collided with a commercial tricycle (popularly known as Keke), killing two people instantly.
The tragic incident occurred in the Bayelsa State capital earlier today, sending shockwaves through the community and leaving witnesses in a state of disbelief. Eyewitness accounts suggest that the tipper, which was reportedly speeding, lost control before ramming into the tricycle, crushing it beyond recognition. The victims, believed to be the tricycle operator and a passenger, died at the scene before any medical help could arrive.
Residents and passersby quickly gathered at the site, their faces filled with sorrow and anger as they recounted the terrifying moment of impact. Some described hearing a loud crash followed by desperate screams, before rushing to the scene only to find the victims motionless.
