Tinubu orders countrywide dispersal of grain to mark Ramadan and Lenten seasons

President Bola Tinubu has instructed the Renewed Hope Ambassadors to undertake a nationwide rice distribution initiative, targeting all states in the federation, in a bid to support citizens observing Ramadan and Lent. The Renewed Hope Ambassadors, under the leadership of Director-General and Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma, will oversee the distribution process, leveraging their extensive grassroots network to ensure that families across Nigeria benefit from this intervention during the holy season of fasting.

A similar initiative was previously undertaken during the last Christmas season, where rice was distributed to Nigerians celebrating the festive period, demonstrating the administration's consistent commitment to supporting citizens during significant religious and cultural seasons.
