Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has made a bold assertion, stating that President Bola Tinubu's chances of losing the 2027 general elections are high only if the voting process takes place on social media platforms.

This statement was made during an interview with Channels Television, which gained significant traction on Sunday, as the governor delved into the ongoing political discussions and the impact of online narratives on public opinion ahead of the upcoming general elections.

According to Governor Sani, the sentiments expressed on social media do not provide an accurate representation of a candidate's electoral strength at the grassroots level or within polling units where votes are actually cast.

He emphasized that while online platforms may seem competitive, they do not ultimately determine the outcome of real elections, highlighting the distinction between online engagement and offline voting patterns.

Governor Sani further illustrated his point by saying, "If the election is going to be conducted on Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, or social media, Asiwaju will lose, but if it is people who will vote through the ballot at polling units, he is going to win 70% of the votes,” clearly outlining his confidence in President Tinubu's electoral prospects.
