Beloved, as we progress into the ember months, may God show us mercy in Jesus name.

n

For a Christian, the ember months are not to be feared.

n

Rather, it should be seen as the months of mercy. Why? It is because it is time for all prayers to be answered. Indeed a season of testimony.

n

The ember months should be seen, as the months of that should actualize our dreams, goals of visions.

n

Note that the word Remember ends with ember so, it is time for God to remember you and when God remembers a person that person will surely benefit from his mercy

n

Beloved, if indeed, you have been praying for a miracle in a particular area since the beginning of the year and that miracle is yet to manifest, it is time to ask for mercy.

n

Why do you need to ask for mercy?

n

It could be that you have not been praying with a focus, or you might have hindered the miracle by your own action.

n

It could even be as a result of enemies using monitoring spirits to work against your God given miracle.

n

What ever is the reason for the delay, God can show mercy.

n

Let’s consider the conversation of Daniel with an angel of God.

n

Daniel 10 vs. 11-14 (NIV) : He said, “ Daniel, you who are highly esteemed, consider carefully the words I am about to speak to you, and stand up, for I have been sent to you”. And when he said this to me, I stood up trembling.

n

Then he continued, Do not be afraid. Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them.

n

But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me because I was detained there with the king of Persia.

n

Now I have come to explain to you what will happen to your people in the future, for the vision concerns a time yet to come”.

n

Here the Bible mentions that Daniel was humble in his prayer. He prayed asking for mercy.

n

His prayers were not about entitlement. God heard but a monitoring spirit hindered the manifestation of his testimony.

n

Are going through a similar condition? Have been fasting and praying without testimonies to show for it?

n

If confronted with a situation like this, you don’t need to war like prayers. Why?

n

It is because; God has seen the number of monitoring spirits that you haven’t seen that have hindered your prayer.

n

In a situation like this, you need God’s mercy for the prayers to be answered.

n

Note that the angel told Daniel that the “ vision concerns a time yet to come”.

n

Brethren, it is up to you if you want the vision to manifest now or for a time yet to come.

n

Many are likely to desire instant manifestation of the vision.

n

Therefor your prayer is found in Psalm 102 vs. 13: “ You will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favour to her, the appointed time has come”.

n

You may need to put your name in place of Zion and me to replace her.

n

This is not a one off prayer but one that must be consistently and regularly prayed for the answer to come.

n

Beloved, when praying, we need to be specific. Assume you are in a conversation with a personality while praying and state clearly what you want from the LORD.

n

The situation of Abraham and Sarah is similar to what some couples are going thorough.

n

Many have asked, why the long delay after a dedication of life and service to God, praying and fasting?

n

It is natural to ask such questions but may you receive the mercy of God this season that you may testify to a miracle in Jesus name.

n

Abraham and Sarah kindly treated strangers not knowing that they had entertained God in human flesh.

n

What did they get in return?

n

Genesis 18 vs. 9&10 ( KJV) tells us more. “ And they said unto him, Where is Sarah thy wife? And he said, Behold, in the tent.

n

And he said, I will certainly return unto thee according to the time of life; and, lo, Sarah thy wife shall have a son. And Sarah heard it in the tent, which was behind him”.

n

Sarah had doubts because of her age but Beloved , when dealing with God, age isn’t a barrie

n

The couple showered the strangers with mercy and they received great mercy.

n

Genesis 21 vs. 1-3 completes the story.

n

It states, “ And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken.

n

For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.

n

And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac”.

n

Perhaps you have been humiliated like Hannah.

n

There is no need fighting or holding it against anyone. Just cry unto the LORD like Hannah and watch the LORD’s mercy show up in your life.

n

Hannah shunned Peninnah’s provocation. Rather than engage in unnecessary altercations, she went to the LORD in prayer.

n

The Holy Bible puts it this way in 1st Samuel 1 vs. 10 ( KJV) “ And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed unto the LORD, and wept sore”.

n

The mockery of Peninnah made her to take her prayer more seriously.

n

She wept and prayed.

n

When last did tears drop from your eyes while praying? It isn’t a condition for a miracle but it is an evidence of someone who is pouring our her mind to the Almighty God.

n

Hannah’s determination to have an answer to her prayer made her make a vow.

n

1st Samuel 10 vs. 11: “ And she vowed a vow, and said, O LORD of hosts, if thou wilt indeed look on the affliction of thine handmaid and remember me, and not forget thine handmaid, but wilt give unto thine handmaid a man child, then I will give him unto the LORD all the days of his life, and there shall no razor come upon his head”.

Beloved, be determined to get your miracle before the year ends by asking for the mercy of God.

n

2025 is running out but with the mercy of God, it would not run away with your miracle in Jesus name.

n

Remember, His mercy endureth forever.
