The Edo State House of Assembly has given a one-week ultimatum to Natasha Osawaru, the lawmaker representing Egor Constituency, to appear before its Ethics and Privileges Committee.

This decision was reached following the circulation of several viral videos on social media showing Osawaru involved in a public confrontation with her husband, popularly known as singer 2Face. The incidents, which attracted widespread public attention, have been described by the Assembly as conduct capable of bringing the legislature into disrepute.rnrnIn a statement issued after plenary, the leadership of the House emphasized that lawmakers are expected to uphold the highest standards of personal and public conduct, noting that any action capable of tarnishing the image of the institution must be thoroughly investigated.
