Tehran vows retaliation against Israeli targets if its critical facilities come under assault, says top security figure

The chief of Iran's supreme national security council has pledged a fierce response to any assault on the nation's infrastructure, putting Israel on notice that it will not be immune to repercussions in the wake of recent skirmishes with the United States.
nMohammad Bagher Zolghadr issued a stern warning, stating that "any attack on infrastructure will be retaliated against, and the criminal Zionist regime responsible for these atrocities will not be safe from the response of our fighters," in a statement broadcast by state television.
