State leaders of the SDP call for ongoing awareness efforts among party members in preparation for the 2027 polls

As the 2027 presidential and general elections approach, the State Chairmen of the Social Democratic Party are urging for increased efforts to educate and engage party members across Nigeria.
nThe call to action was outlined in a statement issued by the forum's Secretary, Idris Adamu, who emphasized that the SDP now offers Nigerians a viable alternative, characterized by its stability, unity, and a manifesto that can drive national growth and transformation.
nThe forum, under the leadership of Hon. Femi Olaniyi Ferrari, extended congratulations to the newly confirmed National Chairman, Prof. Sodiq Abubakar Gombe, noting that his affirmation reflects the broad support of the party's National Executive Council.
nThe statement also recognized the significant contributions made by the party's leadership, its former 2023 presidential candidate, and various stakeholders in bolstering the SDP's position.
nThe forum went on to congratulate the newly confirmed State Chairmen, offering prayers for divine guidance as they assume their leadership roles.
nThe executive members of the forum were also inaugurated, with key positions being filled by individuals such as Hon. Femi Olaniyi Ferrari as Chairman of Chairmen, Abba Modu as Deputy Chairman for the Northern Region, and Hon. Okunlade Michael as Deputy for the Southern Region.
nIdris Adamu took on the role of Secretary, with Idoko Itodo serving as Assistant Secretary, while Kingsley Obina Agbo was appointed as Treasurer, and Allen Amadien as Publicity Secretary.
nBarrister Yerima Yakubu was named as the forum's Legal Adviser, and Willington Odiong assumed the role of Ex officio, as part of the executive members.
nThe forum expressed its well-wishes to all members for a successful tenure, underscoring its commitment to advancing the SDP's goals across the country.
