The diagnosis, as confirmed by tests, revealed that Lamine Yamal has incurred a hamstring injury in his left leg, prompting the club to declare that he will undergo conservative treatment, as stated by Barca.

Lamine Yamal will not participate in the remainder of the season, but is expected to be available for the World Cup, which is scheduled to take place from June 11 to July 19 this year.

Spain's World Cup campaign will commence on June 15 with a match against Cape Verde in Group H, followed by encounters with Saudi Arabia on June 21 and Uruguay six days later.

The injury occurred during Barcelona's 1-0 victory over Celta Vigo in a La Liga match on Wednesday, where Yamal scored the winning goal by converting a penalty.

Yamal, who has scored six goals in 25 appearances for the Spanish national team since his debut in 2023, clinched the narrow win for Barcelona but immediately pulled up hurt after scoring.
